sanoii+six

I was asked by good friends Spam Wilson and Vienna Johnston, the creators of sanoii + six, to take a few photos for their new line of clothing. Borrowed a set of studio lights and had a bit of fun. I don't want to show you everything but ill let you in on a sneak peek. Do yourself a favour and check their stuff out.

Heres a few shots from the day....

New Zealand

I was lucky enough to travel over to NZ last year with my good mate (and now brother in law) Tigg. Had an amazing time. The scenery is insane. I also learnt that i'm a terrible black jack player...but thats another story. Unfortunately we didn't have quite as much snow as we would have like but none the less it was still great. For some reason i've never really had a close look at the photos we took over there. I was 'bored' this afternoon and had a quick squiz. Heres a few of the better ones...

Film

Sometime last year i purchased myself a little Holga camera. Admittedly i don't know all that much about film cameras, but i do enjoy how it looks when printed, and the suspense when you drop a roll in to get developed, and the joy when you receive some pretty rad prints. This was my first roll of 120 film that has passed through the camera. I was a bit nervous about how these would turn out...pretty happy with the results.

And in keeping with the whole 'film' theme, i was searching through the cupboards at home when i came across this little gem. An old Yashica MG-1. It was one of my mums old cameras. Only time will tell how the black and white film i put in it turns out...ill keep you posted.
